1. the status quo and planning of related regional road network(including roads and traffic engineering facilities in the status quo and Planning)
The Second Humen Bridge (formerly known as: Lianhuashan Bridge and connections) Project located in the Pearl River Delta region of Guangdong Province, starting at the Dongyong town of Panyu District, connecting with the South Second Ring Expressway, crossing Dasha (Fulian Gang) Channel, Nizhou (Shiziyang)Channel, after landing in Humen Harbor of the Shatian Town, crossing the Shatian and Houjie Town, then connecting the Guang-Shen Highway in the end point and set aside an export which can cross Dalingshan to Liaobu Town. The upper reaches of this bridge to Huangpu River is about 20km, and the downstream of it to the Humen Bridge about 10km. The project will play a crucial role for the implementation of "Pan-Pearl River Delta" strategy, the promotion of the development of the Pearl River Delta economy, the amelioration of the Pearl River intercoastal traffic flow structure, the consummation of the highway network in Guangdong Province and the intercoastal traffic safety of the Pearl River.
2.the construction scale and technical standards
According to the Ministry of Communications promulgated the "Technical Standards of Highway Engineering" (JTG B01-2003), considering the project’s traffic, terrain, geological conditions and project cost, comparing with the standard eight-lane highway , this project intends to adopt the six-lane highway (eight lanes can be maintained long-term). The standard bridge’s width is 35.5m, the design speed is 100km / h and the load is standard highway - Ⅰ level.
This project set up a highway section sub management center and maintaining area. The project’s interpenetrations are all high-speed to high-speed type, and all the crossing highways belong to the central areas of province’s charge planning, therefore no main road charging stations are set up. Across the whole highway only a Shatian ramp toll stations is set up. Management center, maintaining area and Shatian Station ramp are built together, no service area or parking area.
